Our god-daughter Marisa was the reason we were treated so well in Dakar. She contacted her extended family in Senegal, and Henri, Anta, & Marcel made sure
we were welcome and helped us navigate the city.

Marisa joined us for an belated holiday celebration, and I took advantage of the opportunity to press her into service as a model to showcase our recent additions to our collection. At the top of the post she shows the Nigerian child's mask that
Henri gave us as a overly generous parting gift, in front of carved granary door we procured in the Dogon country.

Marisa loves our
Alpha Sow ceramic.
