Looking East - Travel Day

Shortly before dawn, looking East (more or less) toward the land of the rising sun. We'll be heading for the airport soon and the land of the rising sun, for a two week holiday in Japan. We are meeting our friends Stan and Lisa in Kobe. Their daughter Hayley is studying for a year in Japan and will be giving us some local guidance. It'll be fun - our first time in Japan.

Usually I start trips with a picture of the newspaper rack in the airport. Since my TREO is on the Verizon network (CDMA) and does not work in Japan, we'll leave it home and this shot from the terrace will be the only post using the Treo on this trip.

Future posts will be from EOD uploaded pics, but I don't expect internet access to be a problem or prohibitively expensive so will update as time permits. Sayanora.
