We are getting pretty comfortable with the train schedules, and after flashing our Japan Railpass a few times make it to Osaka. We bracket a tour of Osaka Castle with visits to the Dotonburi district. First during the day for some street food foraging lunch. Then back again at the end of the day for dinner and the full Neon effect.

When the sun goes down, Dotonburi is a beehive of activity. Even on a Sunday night.
