The tree is sort of where HW marked it in his 1990 journal - near the NE corner -

SO GLAD, to see that tree has not been cut. I remember there was more than one in that corner, though not a lot. I'll take another 100 years fro it to get to 180 ft.
Not sure there is any motivation for it to get to 180 feet. It is clear of the canopy now.
