Some observations on breaking our somewhat unobservant fast at sunset tonight...
It was a beautiful day on the lake. Sunny, but cool with a fall bite in the air. We harvested a few more blugs for the evening feast. At sunset, dinner was comprised of blugills and bass fillets on the grill, green peppers harvested from papa's victory garden supplemented with peppers picked up at the Gwinn farmer's market, Harlan's pickled dilly beans. tomato and onion salad, and garlic brown rice (using Papa's bartered longevity garlic).
It was really good.
