Looks like a hard frost at the lake tonight. How's the wood supply holding out ?

No frost. Dropped below 40 though. Will need to call for wood over the next couple of days, although birch in shed could last us the week.
This bring up a question for discussion. Where should the wood pile go? It obvious has to move.
I am thinking alongside the shed on the driveway side.
I would say put it in side the woodshed. Where the birch is now. That will keep it crackling dry for next year. There really is no reason why the wood should be piled out in the elements when we have a woodshed.
We can put some of it in the woodshed, maybe half - but we'll never get all of it in the woodshed, without a major reorg and clean out of other stuff in there.
Im sure you could fit all the wood in the woodshed where all the birch is now. Anything in the way could just be moved over to the other side. It shouldnt take to long.
I agree with Brian.
