MW Mobile Blog
For friends, family and the random search engine visitor. This blog started as an experiment in mobile blogging from my Palm TREO 600, 700, Prē, HTC Evo, Samsung 5, Pixel 3, Pixel 6 Pro. Now it serves as a simple repository of favorite activities. Expect bad golf, good fishing, great sailing, eating, drinking, adventure travel, occasional politics and anything else I find interesting along the way including, but not limited to, any of the labels listed here...

At Lynn's Corner Cafe for breakfast
Part-time waitress Jodie overhears us complaining about the dearth of Wi-Fi in town. She instructs Roy how to jailbreak his iPhone in order to set it up as a 3G hotspot without paying extra tethering charges. She demostrate by letting us use her iPhone as a hotspot. No shit. This really happened.

First, it's the UP. What did you expect. Second, is it good to post this?
Roy should marry Jodie.
I don't understand why anon-1 has his/her panties in a bunch. The author clearly indicates that Jodie is merely informing Roy of instructions widely available on the intertubes. Moreover, the courts have ruled that jailbreaking the iPhone is 100% within the purview of the owner of said iPhone. In any case, the author has cleverly protected the anonymity of all involved. I had the pleasure recently. I know for a fact that there is no such place in Gwinn as Lynn's Corner Cafe. While I appreciate anon-1's nconcern about the Steve Jobs hit squads, they are unlikely to fund their way to Gwinn, MI. I hope that this clears up any concerns or confusions that anyone may have about the authors work, which is both enlightening and amusing.
