They were concerned about the half marathon running by the course this morning.
Which, as it turns out, was no problem whatsoever.
This may be the best day at Lincoln ever. The weather is spectacular.
Let that be a lesson to all you unreliable golfers out there.

Yes, the golf gods will be angry that I cancelled. Just the thought of navigating marathon-clogged streets at 7:30am was scarier than the worst downpour we ever played in so I hope that accounts for something. In addition I remembered I need to pick up a boat from a neighbor and today could be my last chance. More on that over a beer.
Those are extremely weak excuses, Rick. I'm personally ashamed of you.
Yer right. After seeing the pics of today's round I feel pretty bad for cancelling. And I still haven't got the boat yet.
