Rick asked me if I was happy that I beat him by 17 strokes. I explained that I took no pleasure in another golfer's misfortune and no satisfaction in beating his score.  It is more like a sense of relief, as on those rare occasions when he does beat me I am must fight an overwhelming urge to to simply leave my clubs behind and completely give up the game.

Roy and Ron certainly got their money's worth. As for Jon breaking 80, that does not sound like an authentic Bad Golfer score. How did he manage not to be dragged down to our level with all that great company?
