... because two of my regular golf buddies cancelled at the last minute and are now on the unreliable golfer list. Dave, however, is not complaining. In fact, he is grateful. Here he is drinking the unreliable golfer's beer at the turn.
The highlight of the round was an eagle on the 4th.
No, none of us scored an eagle. For that matter - there weren't any birdies this round either. But there was an Eagle on 4.*
After you get an eagle* on the the 4th at Lincoln, the score just doesn't matter.

* Okay. It's not an eagle. Upon further review, and after being challenged by the commentariat, we've decided it's a Red Tailed Hawk. And yes, they get that big.

That looks more like a hawk, dude. And where was my invite, not that I could have joined you. I want to see your new Lincoln scoring prowess in person.
I thought it was too big to be a hawk, but after some additional research - you might be right. The coloration does not seem to match either the Red Tail or Red Shoulder Hawk - though...
Confused.
I also thought it too big to be a hawk, but never was that close to one before. After some research it looks like a juvenile red-tail. As for Mike's scoring prowess, sadly that's harder to spot than an ivory-billed woodpecker.
